General Terms and Conditions (AGB) of Maison Riviera
1. Scope and Provider
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "GTC") apply to all orders placed via our online shop at Maison Riviera (hereinafter "we", "us", "our") and to all contracts concluded between us and our customers (hereinafter "customer" or "you").

1.3 Our offers, deliveries, and services are provided exclusively based on these GTC. Any deviating terms and conditions of the customer shall not be recognized unless we expressly agree to them in writing.
2. Conclusion of Contract
2.1 The presentation of products in our online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order.
2.2 By completing the ordering process and clicking the "Buy Now" button, you submit a binding order for the goods in your shopping cart.
2.3 After placing an order, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the order. A purchase contract is only concluded once we confirm the order separately or ship the goods.
2.4 We reserve the right to refuse any order without stating reasons.
3. Prices and Payment Terms
3.1 All prices stated in our online shop include VAT and other price components but exclude shipping costs unless otherwise stated.

4. Shipping and Delivery
4.1 We ship within the EU, Switzerland, and selected international destinations. Shipping costs are displayed during checkout.
4.2 The estimated delivery time is stated in the order confirmation. Delays due to force majeure or delivery problems from our suppliers do not entitle the customer to compensation.
4.3 We provide insured shipping with tracking. Once shipped, you will receive a tracking link via email.
4.4 If a package is lost in transit, we will investigate and, if necessary, provide a replacement or refund.
5. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
5.1 Right of Withdrawal for EU Consumers
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you (or a third party authorized by you) receive the goods.

5.2 Effects of Withdrawal
- If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including shipping costs (except for additional costs if you selected a more expensive shipping option than our standard shipping).
- Refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving your returned goods.
- We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or proof of return.
- You bear the costs of return shipping unless the product was faulty or incorrect.
5.3 Exclusions of the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Personalized or custom-made products
- Used, unsealed, or non-resalable hygiene products
6. Warranty and Liability
6.1 The statutory warranty period of 24 months applies to all goods for defects present at the time of delivery.
6.2 If the delivered product is defective, you are entitled to statutory claims, including repair, replacement, or refund.
6.3 We are not liable for damages resulting from improper use, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow product instructions.
6.4 Liability for indirect or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits) is excluded unless caused by gross negligence or intent.
